Training :
Evancliffe Leathercraft offer a diverse array of Leatherwork Training Workshops designed to accommodate all skill levels. Participants can choose to create items such as Leather Belts, Hand Bound Leather Journals, Leather Bags, or explore techniques like Wet Moulding and Stamping. Students often leave with a small leather item they crafted during the workshop.

A Brief History:
Evancliffe Leathercraft, founded and operated by Clive and Wendy Elsdon, began with a passion for leatherwork that stemmed from their interest in green woodworking. Their initial projects involved crafting leather tool guards and cases for various green woodworking tools, including draw knives, spoke shaves, froes, and carving knives. This early exploration sparked a broader fascination with leatherwork, leading Clive and Wendy to enroll in the inaugural QCF Level 2 Creative Craft Leathercraft course at Northumberland College’s Hexham Centre. Both successfully completed the course, further enhancing their skills and knowledge in the craft.
